Where to dispose of "hazardous materials"

Some items are considered hazardous materials. These include anything that is highly flammable or that can pollute the ground water. Examples of these are refrigerators because they contain Freon, computers and televisions because they contain mercury, tires, wet paint, chemicals, batteries and light bulbs. While this is not an exclusive list, it does give you an idea of what common household items are considered "hazardous". Of course, you still need to dispose of these items and you can check the City of Orlando's website to find your nearest drop-off location.
