Interested in becoming a GRD Driver?

GRD is continuously growing and that growth offers employment opportunities for CDL certified drivers with roll-off experience. We are always accepting applications or resumes for qualified drivers even if we are not currently hiring.

Driver Application Requirements:

CDL Driver's License, Class A or Class B
A clean driving record
At least two of years roll-off experience, three years preferred. Applications without roll-off experience will not be considered.
- Front load and compactor experience are a plus, but can be taught on the job
Good attitude and customer service skills
Ability to follow instructions

Driver Expectations and Responsibilities
Transport roll-off containers to/from customer sites and various local landfills
Approximate weight based on load content to select the correct landfill for dump
Be able to accurately complete digital work orders using a mobile application
Perform daily morning truck inspections and alert Dispatch of any issues
Perform routine truck maintenance (i.e. maintaining fluids, greasing rollers, changing out wiper blades/mud flaps/lights etc.)

A cell phone will be provided for business use and uniforms will be provided after the probationary period. Compensation is based upon experience.
